Tufoil Engine Treatment is a proven oil additive that keeps cars, trucks, motorcycles, and boats running at peak efficiency. Efficiently running engines use less gas, need fewer repairs, run more smoothly, and quietly, and last a very long time.

Several years ago, the Guinness World Book of Records chose Tufoil as “The World’s Most Efficient Lubricant.” To this day, it is the ONLY engine treatment in the Guinness Book. So far, no one has been able to break that record!

The benefits include:

  • Reduced friction and wear
  • Better fuel efficiency
  • Extended oil life
  • Reduced sludge and sediment deposits
  • Quieter engine noise
  • Corrosion protection

Description

Add Tufoil Engine Treatment to your engine’s standard or synthetic motor oil in all 4-cycle engines including 4, 6, or 8-cylinder cars, trucks, and vehicles or any 4-cycle/4-stroke small engine. Tufoil Engine Treatment will keep your motor vehicle, lawn mower, or boat running very efficiently, and efficient engines use less gas, need fewer repairs, run smoother, quieter, and last a very long time.

Benefits of Tufoil Engine Treatment:

  • Decreases coefficient of friction
  • Extends engine life
  • Improves the oil’s viscosity index, allowing for consistent engine performance
  • Allows engines to run cooler and quieter
  • Keeps the insides of engines cleaner by preventing gunk from accumulating
  • Prevents deposits from building up on critical components of engines and piston rings
  • Adds corrosion protection properties to oil
  • Increases an engine’s horsepower
  • Cuts friction and wear
  • Provides easier cold starts for gas and diesel engines
  • Creates faster cranking speed under all weather conditions
  • Increases horsepower and acceleration
  • Lessens excessive engine oil burning

Remove engine oil cap, and pour directly into the existing oil in your engine.

We’ll never see the low gas prices from years ago again! But we can get the most out of what we have to pay today. Smart drivers rely on Tufoil® engine oil treatment for help in creating improved engine efficiency!

Testing:

Tufoil is “The World’s Most Efficient Lubricant,” according to Guinness. Efficiently-running engines use less gas! Tufoil was tested by the United States Government at their federal laboratory (The National Bureau of Standards, now known as NIST) and passed with flying colors. NIST determined that Tufoil has a surface friction so low that it makes Tufoil the most slippery substance known to man.

The Canadian Government ran extreme cold weather tests at their laboratory in Kapuskasing. Their findings show that Tufoil boosted cranking speed in both gas and diesel engines nearly 10% in cold weather starting. Their findings also showed a 5% fuel savings.

Coefficient of Friction Testing

Four-Ball Testing, ASTM D4172, is commonly used to test lubricants. See how Tufoil improves the coefficient of friction of a standard host oil in “What is 4-Ball Testing as Used in Testing Lubricants.”

The Federal Trade Commission paid close attention to many of our competitors. As a result, they issued warnings to many of them for false advertising claims. You can check it out yourself by visiting the FTC website and typing “oil additives” in the search box provided on their website. They didn’t have the testing to substantiate their claims.

Oil Compatibility

Tufoil Engine Treatment is compatible with most conventional / mineral oils and synthetic oils. To test compatibility, mix one ounce of Tufoil Engine Treatment into 10 ounces of your host oil at room temperature. Stir or shake. If you see no separation, settling or clumping, Tufoil is compatible with your oil.

Tufoil Engine Treatment makes your ordinary oil TUFOIL!

Tufoil Engine Treatment is also available in a 208 L Drum (55 gal): Contact Us for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Fluoramics recommends using Tufoil Engine Treatment after the vehicle’s first manufacturer-recommended oil change. This allows the engine to complete its initial break-in period before Tufoil is added.

Yes. Tufoil Engine Treatment is suitable for turbocharged engines. Its technology is designed to reduce friction and wear and help bearings run cooler and quieter, which may help extend bearing life.

Tufoil Engine Treatment is designed to reduce friction, wear, noise, vibration, and operating temperatures. It can also reduce starting torque and cranking amps, improve viscosity index, and extend oil-drain intervals. Tufoil is compatible with modern plastics and rubbers.

Yes, with some exceptions. Tufoil Engine Treatment is compatible with Class 1–4 motor oils and is itself a PAO-based Class 4 product. It is not recommended for Class 5, PAG-based, or glycol-based oils. Always check the oil classification before adding Tufoil.

Yes. Tufoil Engine Treatment has a three-year shelf life from the date of manufacture. The five-digit Julian date printed on the bottle or label indicates when the product was made.

Yes. Shake the bottle before use to redistribute any PTFE particles that may have settled during storage. This helps ensure the product is properly mixed before adding it to the engine oil.

For the first treatment, use 2 ounces of Tufoil per quart of engine oil. For subsequent oil changes, use 1 ounce per quart. At the recommended dosage, Tufoil will not significantly increase the engine oil level.
